About Crop PDF
Crop PDF trims the margins of every page of a PDF by the amount you enter, in points. It is made for removing wide white borders, scanner edges or extra space around a document, so the content fills the page better when printed or viewed. A point is 1/72 inch, so 36 points is half an inch on each side.
Cropping is not the same as deleting content: it changes the visible page area. That is useful when a scan captured more than the page, or when a document was exported with generous margins that waste print space. Because the same margin is applied to every page, the result stays consistent across the whole file.
How to use Crop PDF
- Choose a PDF with “Select PDF file”.
- Drag the kept-area box in the preview, or its corner and edge handles, to adjust it — or type exact margins for each side in points.
- Press “Crop and Download”.
- Download the cropped PDF.
Why use Crop PDF
Drag the kept area, every page — consistent trimming without editing pages one by one.
- Handles and exact margins — drag the preview box or type a margin per side.
- Consistent — every page is cropped by the same amount.
- Print-friendly — less white space means content fills the printed page better.
Common uses
Common uses include trimming wide white borders from a scanned document, removing scanner edges and shadows from a photocopied page, and cutting extra space so content fills the printed page better. It is also used to tidy exported documents whose margins are larger than needed for reading or filing.

Frequently asked questions
What is a point?
A PDF point is 1/72 inch, so 36 points is half an inch.
Can cropping remove a header or watermark?
Only if it sits inside the margin you crop. Cropping changes the visible page area, so anything in the trimmed edge disappears from view, but content in the middle of the page is untouched.
Can I crop different margins on different pages?
No. This tool applies the same margin to every page. For different crops per page, split the PDF, crop each part separately, and merge them back.
Will cropping delete my content?
It changes the visible page area. Content outside the new page area will not be visible, so use a small margin first and check the result.
What if the margin is larger than the page?
Use a margin smaller than half the page's width and height. A margin that large would leave no visible page area.
